Moani here, the founder of SO GOOD. I want to share with you my personal journey towards finding a healthier and more positive relationship with fitness, self-image, and well-being—how I learned to LIVE SO GOOD! From a young age, I was drawn to an active lifestyle. Whether it was playing soccer, paddling, or being part of a dance team, movement was my passion. However, as I ventured into the modeling industry at just 10 years old, the pressure to look my best began to take hold.

At 16, I discovered weight training and group fitness, but consistency was a challenge. Throughout my 20's, I experimented with various workouts but struggled to find something that truly stuck. It wasn't until 2014 when I won Miss Hawaii USA that I realized the extent of the pressure to maintain a certain weight and appearance.

Yoyo dieting, restrictions, and working out became more about meeting external expectations rather than genuinely enjoying the process or nourishing my body. I believed I had to fit into a specific mold to be considered okay. However, when I turned 30 in 2021, the negative side effects of my disordered eating habits began to take their toll. I reached a breaking point and knew I needed to make a change. Sadly, this struggle is all too common among women in the modeling industry, and it's crucial to shed light on this issue.It was during this transformative period that I found solace in becoming a member at Burn. Surrounded by supportive friends and the Burn Community, I felt encouraged to do better and show up for myself. The decision to become a trainer at Burn was a pivotal moment that propelled me to delve deeper into the world of fitness.

Fast forward three years, and I can confidently say that I have arrived at a better place—a place of self-acceptance, self-love, and strength. SO GOOD represents the essence of this transformation, capturing the idea that when you truly move so good, sweat so good, you feel so good and are so good. Our brand encompasses a wide range of fitness essentials to elevate your workouts—including yoga mats, loop bands, as well as chic vegan leather ankle weights!
